If we accept the above is true, there is no better or more honourable Profession to work in than Resourcing. The positive impacts that best practice, innovation, respect for all, fairness, trust, duty of care, and the highest ethical standards in Resourcing can bring, change working environments and the lives/careers of individuals (and those around them) in a way few other Professions do.
Hence Resourcing should be seen as a privilege, not a chore! Performing it well should also bring a sense of fun too, whatever the challenges of any particular project. If you can't have fun finding and then retaining the best people for any organisation, then we truly believe it is the recruiter who may possibly be in the wrong career track! |
